The Company

Job Duties & Responsibilities

This role supports the NGPU’s treasury operations including critical activities of cash management, commodity and investment confirmations, settlements, and payments. It is also responsible for executing strategy of maximising group cash utilisation to optimise the local cash position. This role is responsible accurate and timely preparation of cash reporting and other management information.

Key responsibilities:

  • Analysis and reporting of the NGP’s daily liquidity & funding position.
  • Daily monitoring of bank accounts across the group
  • Regular monitoring of the NGP’s risk metrics, providing insight and analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and submissions
  • Play a key role in gathering information from front line business areas and Finance to manage and settle daily cash positions
  • Understand key market and liquidity risk measures and provide analysis and explanation of material variance.
  • Valuation of investments and debt
  • Cash flow, fair value and net investment hedging and hedge accounting
  • Technical accounting for complex treasury transactions
  • Debt issuance and modifications
  • Treasury governance and controls

  • Knowledge of market and liquidity risk metrics and financial products
  • Relevant experience in the financial industry
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills


  • CFS or CIMA accredited
  • 2 years in a Finance role
