Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Recruiting, managing a team of Energy Consultants
  • Work in a full 360 capacity by cold-calling, acquiring and closing your own leads
  • Focused on maximising and closing own and Lead Generation opportunities
  • Identify sales opportunities and eliminate objections using up to date market/product information
  • Present unique solutions which save our customers time, money and reduce their carbon emissions
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with current and future customers
  • Manage your existing customer accounts and renewals and keeping a pipeline and record of your Lead Generators so that you can maximise and close all opportunities
  • To achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales and revenue target and KPIs
  • To adhere to the sales compliance rules at all times – all sales are generated in line with our quality standards
  • To accurately complete all customer details and sales information to the required standard on the organisations CRM system
  • Attend on-going training and coaching sessions, in addition assessing the growth and development of your Lead Generators and passing on any areas for development or concern to the training team
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales journey
  • Present daily forecasts of upcoming sales for yourself and your Energy Consultants to your Operations Manager

Personal Attributes

  • Provable history in a Business Development, full 360 Energy Consultant or Closer position preferably within the Energy Sector
  • Ability to develop urgency in a call and proven ability to close sales
  • Preferably an energy guru! NGP are disrupting this market and we would expect you to have the skills knowledge and drive to do the same – so a thorough understanding of corporate energy terminology (KVA, Half-Hourly, Pass Through Contract, Deemed Rates, Advanced Purchasing, Tenders)
  • The ability to manage, monitor and grow others, understanding the skills and capabilities of your Energy Consultants/Sales team and working with the training team to develop them
