The opportunity

We are looking for Talent Acquisition Specialists to join the team based in Gateshead, supporting our ever-expanding global business. The roles will vary from high volume sales to specialised one-off vacancies across our brands. If you want international recruitment experience, we will provide it at NGP.

What is the job about?

You will join our outstanding Talent Acquisition team in finding the best talent available throughout the world. You will work with various stakeholders throughout the business to fill and close both volume and non-volume roles, from entry level all the way to Heads of Department. Using your background and skillset, you will process applications and even headhunt the right profiles to fill the vacancies. We will give you the tools, training and resources to get the job done!

What exactly will you do?

  • You’ll be responsible for the full onboarding process from sourcing, interviewing and enrolling new starters
  • We want someone who will have specific knowledge and skills in networking via LinkedIn/LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed etc.
  • Engage with pre-screening to identify the best candidates
  • Assist in building a strong employer brand to ensure we provide a positive candidate experience
  • Fill a wide variety of roles from high volume sales roles to specific operational and service positions
  • Keeping our ATS updated
  • Source candidates through online channels (e.g., professional networks and social media)
  • Screen CVs and applications and update candidates on hiring processes
  • Interview candidates during the first stage of the process, including telephone or video calls
  • Manage key stakeholders within the business throughout the hiring process
  • Ensure business targets are hit by successfully managing your roles, candidates and hiring managers

What we’re looking for

  • Experienced in working with both agencies and internal recruitment departments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, on multiple vacancies at once
  • Understanding of full-cycle recruiting
  • Someone who enjoys the search, someone effective and resourceful
  • A person who brings a positive attitude, adding to the team environment

Bonus points

  • Experience in the Utilities/Energy industry
  • CIPD qualified or similar recruitment qualifications
  • Bilingual – ability to communicate fluently in French and English (written and verbal)
