Our Induction Trainer will meet and greet our new colleagues on their first day and first impressions count! The successful candidate will represent our brand and culture. They’ll need to ensure our new family members enjoy every minute of their induction and are ready to smash their targets when they join their team.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Our Induction Trainer will manage the training programme and participate in the delivery of outstanding induction material for our new colleagues. The successful candidate should be capable of delivering industry knowledge through various learning methods.

They will analyse and review our new colleagues, forming weekly reports on attendance and performance. The candidate should be adept at assessing knowledge and aptitude people. They should be able to provide insight and analytics on current training methods and should be able to adapt and update resources based on latest events in the energy industry.

They will also deliver bespoke training for our suite of in-house products, services, and energy management technologies.

They will be responsible for the delivery of induction training on a weekly basis of you to 30 new colleagues from a range of backgrounds, skills, and experiences.

Part of the job is to liaise with and provide feedback to the training and recruitment teams to ensure the onboarding process is as efficient as possible. The candidate will liaise with our wider People team to develop new ideas on learning and development to support the entire Company.

We are looking for someone who is fun, has an infectious personality and full of energy, but knows when to rein it in!

Personal Attributes

·Takes pride. Whether that be in their work or appearance, we want someone that cares about people, cares about themselves and leads by example!

·Have sales training experience – ideally at least 2 years and with large groups, catering for all learning styles.

·Have developed world class sales induction and training programmes.

·Passionate with a proven track record of delivering!

·Knowledge and experience of learning styles and methods.

·Be organised and meticulous with attention to detail.

·Adopts a continuous improvement approach.

·Proactive, thinks outside the box.

·Confidence is a must, can control a room of people and keep them focussed/interested.

·Someone who is clear and concise in the delivery of information and can hold a conversation.

You’ll need to make sure you have a clear understanding of the NGP way of doing things very quickly.

We’d also like it if you:

·Have experience of creating and delivering training in a B2B company

·Experience of working within utilities company
