  • SALARY:  £25,000 estimate (Package TBC)
  • HOURS: Monday – Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
  • LOCATION: Baltic Place, Gateshead
  • HOLIDAYS: 23 days annual leave + bank holidays + December off (fully paid)
  • CONTRACT: Full-time, permanent

Job Duties & Responsibilities

There are also online energy price comparison sites and EnergieSupermarche.Fr, serving the UK and French SME markets respectively. GPG is also the parent company of Energy Management and technology brands, ClearVUE Systems and NGP Websmart.

In line with our future aspirations centred around our people, our products, and our growth, we are looking to develop our Services Department with a view to enhancing performance at Northern Gas and Power.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review data effectively to schedule and plan resource. E.g. root cause analysis on sales reports to support performance.
  • Manage and advise shifts and schedules to ensure fairness and consistency across the department, whilst managing demand.
  • Proactively provide insight around resource capacity to the Executive team, to ensure the operational budgets are not exceeded.
  • Protect service level performance to ensure client contacts are answered and dealt with within agreed metrics.
  • Take responsibility for managing bookings and updates to ensure that the scheduling system accurately reflects the current resourcing position and that it is up to date for minimum of 3 – 6 months in advance.
  • Manage holiday requests in conjunction with policies, ensure holiday requests are appropriately approved and that dates are accurately reflected in the scheduling system.
  • Monitor sickness/absence levels highlighting issues as appropriate and ensuring that dates are accurately reflected accurately.
  • Liaise with the People team to ensure accuracy of people data
  • Regularly check in with new joiners to ensure they are settling into their roles and have the support they need
  • Check in with stakeholders to ensure that new joiners are meeting the original expectations and forecast future scheduling
  • Work with People Team to report any people issues such as performance, absence, contract expirations and work-life balance issues
  • Work with L&D to manage delivery plans & trainer delivery commitments ensuring all delivery commitments are secured and risk are identified
