The Global Procurement Group (GPG) continues to expand rapidly, with operations in Gateshead, Newcastle, and Leeds (UK), Paris and Malta (Europe), Texas (US) and Chennai (India).

The group is on track to employ over 1,000 colleagues by the end of the year and are looking for additional Development Coaches to support the growth and success of our future family members by assisting with the onboarding, integration, training and ongoing support within our already established Learning and Development department.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

To contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation by assisting in various aspects of the finance function of several entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase ledger invoice processing in SAP from PO to payment
  • Credit card expense processing
  • Processing staff expense claims
  • Preparation of payment request forms ensuring all authorisation and document has been received
  • Preparation of regular supplier payment runs
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing supplier accounts
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Review of aged creditors report to resolve any anomalies
  • Reconciliation of creditor accounts of group companies
  • Assist the purchase ledger manager at improving and implementing processes
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Ad hoc online purchases for other departments
  • Assisting with external auditors
  • Carry out any other duties as may reasonably be requested

Personal Attributes

Experience/Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Minimum AAT Level 3
  • Experience of working in a busy finance environment
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Flexible mindset and can-do attitude
  • Resilient
  • Self-starter
  • Hard working

Desirable:

  • AAT Level 4
  • Experience of SAP By design

Additional Comments-Location/travel/international travel:
