About the role


  • SALARY: Up to £25,000 DOE
  • HOURS: Monday – Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
  • LOCATION: Baltic Place, Gateshead
  • HOLIDAYS: 23 days annual leave + bank holidays + December off (fully paid)
  • CONTRACT: Full-time, permanent

Job Duties & Responsibilities

As a marketing executive, you’ll contribute to and develop integrated marketing campaigns to promote a product, service, or idea. This a varied role, which includes:

  • Planning,
  • Advertising
  • Public Relations
  • Event Organisation
  • Product Development
  • Distribution
  • Sponsorship
  • Research

Key Responsibilities:

As a marketing executive, you’ll need to:

  • Create awareness of and develop the Northern Gas and Power and company brands
  • Communicate with target audiences to build and develop customer relationships
  • Support marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing, and campaigns
  • Support the Marketing department in delivering agreed activities
  • Work closely with in-house or external creative agencies to design marketing materials such as brochures and adverts
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.

You’ll need to have:

  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Writing and design skills in order to produce marketing materials for both print and online
  • Creativity
  • An eye for detail
  • Analytical skills to evaluate marketing campaigns
  • A flexible approach to work
  • Teamwork and the ability to foster good working relationships

Candidates with a degree in Marketing hold an advantage.
