  • HOLIDAYS: 23 days annual leave + bank holidays + December off (fully paid)

The Global Procurement Group (GPG) continues to expand rapidly, with operations in Gateshead, Newcastle, and Leeds (UK), Paris and Malta (Europe), Texas (US) and Chennai (India). As part of our recent growth, we have moved to a new head quarters in the Riga building on the Gateshead Quayside and now need a Kitchen Manager to continue the growth of our onsite café, Feel Well Deli.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

The Kitchen Manager is responsible for the efficient and professional operation of Feel Well Deli, catering for up to 400 members off staff.

We have some of the most hardworking people you’ll ever work with and it’s important that we can fuel them with good, healthy food.

Job requirements:

  • Ensuring we achieve and maintain a 5-star food hygiene rating
  • Managing a fast-paced deli counter within our brand-new state of the art office
  • Providing high quality, healthy food to our colleagues in a professional manner
  • Leading the Feel Well Deli team to ensure profitability
  • Health and safety compliance
  • Budget management and cash handling
  • Comply with all company operating policies and procedures

Experience

Essential:

  • Barista experience
  • Experience in creating and developing healthy menus
  • Hospitality and beverage experience
  • Supervisory and management experience
  • Food hygiene qualifications
  • COSHH qualification
