Job Duties & Responsibilities

The Group Chief Accountant will be expected to cover a number of aspects of Group accounting, providing timely and accurate financial information to the CFO and the Board, as well as reporting to various external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Management and oversight of the centralised financial and management accounting teams
Responsibility and oversight of the production of the monthly management accounts for all group company entities as well as the group consolidation within agreed timescales as set out within the team’s objectives including P&Ls, BS, cash flow and analysis
Analysis of monthly reporting of key KPIs
Oversight of cash management and reporting
Ensuring compliance with all banking covenants
Financial forecasting
All tax and regulatory compliance across the group with support from local employees and advisors
Managing relationships with our banks, external auditors and advisors across the group
Operate and improve internal controls and drive efficiencies within the finance function
Financial analysis and project work
Carry out any other duties as may reasonably be requested
