Job Duties & Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the provision and communication of commercial analysis covering non-commodity costs associated with the supply of electricity and gas to business customers. Non-commodity costs forecast by the Team contribute more than half of the cost of a typical customer bill and include Government renewable and capacity levies as well as electricity and gas network charges.

You will work with a wide range of stakeholders across all of Northern Gas and Powers energy business activities including Business Energy Retail, Regulation, Policy, Finance, and Generation Development, providing analysis for industry consultations and working groups regarding changes to market arrangements and industry codes.

  • Modelling & Forecasting – development of pricing models for the energy power markets. Identification & analysis of market trends, maximising the returns available from their renewable & VPP asset portfolio.
  • Reporting – Business Models, technical solutions & market assessments (Power Markets)

 

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree Level Qualifications
