The opportunity

An amazing opportunity is available to join our fantastic award-winning team. We are growing our Customer Service Team, based at our HQ in Gateshead. Our existing team are incredible and deliver phenomenal results. Come and join them!

What is the job about?

Our ever-growing customer base of over 30,000 business energy portfolios requires us to grow our Customer Services Team, so we can continue to offer outstanding service to our clients! We are looking for motivated and ambitious people with a desire to provide quality service and support to both their customers and colleagues.

What exactly will you do?

  • Act as a brand ambassador for NGP
  • Prioritise and process customer requests submitted by telephone or email
  • Investigate and resolve any customer complaints (unlikely) quickly and patiently
  • Maintain thorough and accurate customer service records
  • Keep confidential records and financial information private and secure
  • Learn how to use various database systems and technology to deliver great customer care
  • Liaise with energy suppliers on behalf of our customers to ensure they receive the best possible service
  • Work as part of the NGP team to support colleagues, identify further business opportunities and drive positive company sales results
  • Communicate with customers as their contract start dates approach to ensure a smooth transition to meet their specific energy needs
  • Ensure we can keep our customers engaged, customer retention

What we’re looking for
