Global Procurement Group (GPG) an international group of companies specialising in energy services and technologies that transform energy behaviour as we move into a low-carbon economy. The group recently posted revenues of £67m for 2020, with the latest accounts detailing growth at 40% p.a. from 2017 – 2020.
GPG continues to expand rapidly, with operations in Gateshead, Newcastle and Leeds (UK), Paris and Malta (Europe), Texas (US) and Chennai (India). GPG will employ 1,000 heads by the end of the year.
The UK trading arm, Northern Gas and Power, are the UK’s largest energy consultancy. Managing energy assets for over 20,000 clients, we manage over 30TWhs of energy – more than the entire annual consumption of Ireland.
We have seriously ambitious growth plans.
The Chief People Officer (CPO) is responsible for reimagining GPG’s structure and policies. They will drive HR and People best practices and initiatives and provide strategic direction and expertise for the full scope of or Global function.
Reporting to the CEO with a channel to the CFO, the CPO will develop and execute our People strategy for the Group and partner with the SMT to execute on the vision globally.
The CPO will serve as a thought partner to the CEO, CFO and SMT, providing People advisory services regarding leadership, coaching, employee relations, talent acquisition, engagement, culture, compensation, organisational design and change, performance management and learning and development.
Line Management responsibility for the People Leadership team, which currently comprises of teams based in the UK, France, and Malta. Existing teams consist of a UK HR team who are responsible for UK, USA and Malta and a French HR team responsible for France.
