Full Time – UK
Northern Gas and Power (a subsidiary of Global Procurement Group) is a global energy procurement consultant and is the largest energy consultancy in Europe. We guide businesses of all sizes ranging from SMEs to global and international organisations in purchasing their energy contracts.
We set up comprehensive strategies for organisations to procure their energy contracts, negotiate contracts with energy suppliers, introduce and operate risk management frameworks; collect, check and analyse invoices, and calculate their GHG emissions and carbon footprints.
Our consultancy is supported by our unique ClearVUE platform that brings together and visualises information from a global energy portfolio down to the last detail – helping our clients work towards their net zero goals and ensuring compliance with climate-related legislation.
For this role, we are looking to hire an outbound Sales B2B Energy Procurement Advisor (EPA) to support our UK clients. You will be part of our Energy Procurement team.
The initial aim of this role is to generate sales leads, working alongside our Closers whilst they provide our clients with the best solution and close the sale. These leads are found using and growing your current network, as well as our inhouse CRM system and through calling new clients.
A successful EPA has a winning attitude, consistently meets targets, and grows their client portfolio through proactive customer engagement and strategic, disciplined prospect management. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, driven and motivated to succeed with a winning attitude.
Here are some of the common questions you will help your customers answer:
What exactly will you do?
You will receive a thorough onboarding process, where we will give you full industry and sales training, everything you need to onboard your first client. After this, you will be equipped to develop and manage your own client portfolio, enjoying a great deal of independence in organising your time and work schedule.
You must have evidence of the right to work in the country you are applying. Certain roles may require applicants to undergo a criminal record check and/or credit check. This will be confirmed to you during the recruitment process accordingly. We have a written policy on the recruitment of ex-offenders and a copy of the policy can be requested prior to your application should you wish.
Due to the high number of applicants if you have not heard back from us within 2 weeks of applying, please consider your application unsuccessful on this occasion. If your skills and competencies develop we would be happy to see a further application from you at that time. We welcome people to apply again after a period of 6 months.
