What first attracted you to join NGP, and how did your journey into your current role begin?

I was looking for a fresh challenge in a completely new industry, and sales had always interested me. NGP stood out as a place where I could develop those skills and build a long-term career.

Can you give an overview of your role and how it supports the wider sales function?

As a Lead Generator, I engage with new customers to bring them on board while building strong, ongoing relationships with my existing portfolio. I work closely with my pricing manager to ensure we’re delivering competitive and tailored solutions that support overall sales performance.

What does a typical day look like for you at NGP?

My day is centred around staying on top of market trends and using that insight in conversations with customers. I also collaborate closely with the pricing manager to ensure clients receive the best possible options based on current market conditions.

What skills are most important in your role, particularly when working in a fast-paced commercial environment?

Strong communication, effective time management, and adaptability are key. The market moves quickly, so being able to respond efficiently and confidently is essential.

What have you enjoyed most about working at NGP so far?

The incentives have been a real highlight, as they provide opportunities to attend some incredible events. So far, I’ve experienced a music festival in Croatia, the Champions League Final at Wembley, and an Oasis concert.

How has NGP supported your development since joining the business?

The coaching team has been fantastic. They tailor support to your development areas and proactively review customer conversations, offering insights and practical ideas to help you continuously improve.
